Confidence in Airplane Upset Situations

The EASA Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (A-UPRT) is not an aerobatics course, but a safety-focused training program designed to prepare you for the most critical moments in the cockpit.

You will learn how to recognize, prevent, and recover from upset scenarios in a realistic, scenario-based environment, with a strong focus on human factors, automation management, and situational awareness.

Before the flight training begins, you will strengthen your theoretical understanding through online CBT and realistic full-motion simulator sessions. You will then apply this knowledge in practice during two Advanced UPRT flights on our Glass Cockpit Cessna Skyhawks, including a final progress check.

Ready for the unexpected.

No Aerobatics Training

If you expect loops and barrel rolls during the Advanced UPRT, this is not the right training for you. The focus lies on preventing upset situations and recovering from nose-high/nose-low attitudes, stalls, and spin events - all within a realistic scenario-based environment.

Building confidence is key!

Experienced UPRT Instructors

You will train with highly experienced Advanced UPRT instructors who place great emphasis on your progress, as well as your psychological and physiological limits - which are an essential part of the training itself.

Learn from the best!

Automation Management

For many pilots, Advanced Automation is first encountered during their initial airline operations. That is why effective Automation Management - alongside a wide range of other essential competencies - forms a key pillar of our Advanced UPRT training.

Recognize the pitfalls!

Advanced Simulators

To create a realistic startle effect during the aircraft training, you will first complete dedicated training scenarios on our hyper-realistic simulator. This significantly enhances the overall learning experience and adds substantial value to the training.
